Recollections: One could argue that this airplane should be lumped in with the T-38 but I disagree.  While it has many of the design features of the T-38, it had noticeably more thrust and it also is a chance to talk about the longevity of this design.  The F-5 served in nations world-wide and almost (in the Form of the F-20, marketed by none other than Chuck Yeager) was extended into the 21st century as a front-line fighter.

To be honest, I don’t remember much about this flight, other than it was a pretty familiar airplane (there goes my argument!).  I don’t even remember who the operator was, though a distant memory is that it was a Navy aggressor squadron, possibly from Key West.  The stock photo reflects this indistinct memory.
