Recollections: My flight in the Hunter–conducted when I was the Safety Officer at USNTPS–consisted primarily of a low level and the airplane handled very nicely.  It has enjoyed a considerable career, both in the military and since in private hands.  A great friend and former boss, Tom Archer, flew a Civilian Hunter in the US for many years.
